Rev. Dr. Feli├ža Wooten Williams to Deliver Baccalaureate Address

Rev. Dr. Feliça Wooten Williams will deliver a sermon during the Baccalaureate ceremony at West Virginia Wesleyan College to over 300 graduates and their families on Friday, May 5 at 5 p.m. in Wesley Chapel.

Rev. Dr. Williams is an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church (UMC) and serves as Pastor of Simpson Memorial UMC and St. Stephens UMC in Charleston. Dr. Williams is also a member of the Board of Trustees at West Virginia Wesleyan College. 

She was the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the WV Conference of The UMC.  Her past civic involvement includes the Boards of Mercer Health Right, the Girl Scouts of the Black Diamond Council, Chair of the Business Creation and Retention Sub-committee of the Beckley-Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the NASA-WV Space Grant Consortium, and the Board of Trustees of Glenwood Park Retirement Village. 

Rev. Dr. Williams holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VA Tech), a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) degree from Marshall University, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from the United Theological Seminary in addition to three undergraduate degrees.
