Transfer Stock or Other Securities
To make a stock gift call the Advancement Office at 304-473-8600 or email Rose Ellen Loudin at loudin_r@wvwc.edu. We will provide you with the current electronic transfer information to West Virginia Wesleyan College which can be shared with your broker.
Make a Monthly Recurring Gift
Monthly credit card gifts can be set up through our online form. To make a monthly gift through electronic funds transfer (EFT) or by credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa), print and return the Monthly Giving form (EFT Monthly Giving Form - PDF) or call Pam Weaver at 304-473-8117. Withdrawals are made on or around the 15th of each month.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Corporate Matching gifts are made by your employer to match your personal gift to WVWC. A dollar-for-dollar match is common, but some companies contribute two or even three dollars for each dollar donated. Your Human Resources Department can provide you with the appropriate guidelines to complete your match.
Make a Planned Gift
West Virginia Wesleyan College alumni and friends have a long history of supporting what are known as deferred gifts, in which the donor has deferred the College’s receipt of the full value of the gift, or where the donor has reserved some benefit from the amount given. Deferred giving not only offers tremendous benefits to Wesleyan, but can also help you, your spouse, and/or your estate enjoy tax and income advantages.
Some popular methods of deferred gift planning include Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trust, Charitable Lead Trust, Gifts of Life Insurance, Gifts of Interest in Real Estate, Testamentary Gifts, Gifts of Retirement Account Assets, or Payable-on-Death (POD) Accounts.
