The Wesleyan Society
Established in 1995, the Wesleyan Society is a community of individuals and organizations who pledge to become partners in a shared vision for West Virginia Wesleyan College. Society members express their support of Wesleyan’s mission with gifts of $1,000 or more each year.
Members of the Wesleyan Society provide more than 90 percent of all dollars received annually by the College. The Wesleyan Society membership is based on fiscal year (July 1-June 30) giving, and members receive a monthly newsletter from the President and are invited to a number of special campus and regional events.
Join the Wesleyan Society by making your gift online or sending your contribution of $1,000 or more to the College. You may also consider scheduling a monthly gift or electronic fund transfer of $84 or more to become a member.

John W. Reger Society
The John W. Reger Society is named after one of West Virginia Wesleyan College's first trustees and major benefactors. It is a cumulative recognition society for those persons who make Wesleyan a part of their estate or gift planning. Membership may be secured by including the College in your will, making Wesleyan the owner or beneficiary of insurance policies, or by participating in any of the various lifetime income plans the College has available. Membership in the society is permanent; that is, it continues from year to year throughout the member's lifetime so long as the commitment remains in effect. The membership roster is displayed prominently in Wesleyan's annual donor recognition report. A membership certificate also is provided to all members.
For more information about planned giving and the John W. Reger Society, contact David Peters '65, coordinator of planned giving, at peters_d@wvwc.edu or visit the planned giving section of the website.
